When choosing towels, you should find a way to ensure that each child has their own towel or towels. You can pick different colors or designs to distinguish the individual towels. Choosing a cartoon or movie character for a favorite towel is popular with kids of all ages. Disney characters

Toweling fabric should be soft, thick and absorbent for best efficiency. Children have sensitive skin, so a rough towel is irritating. It can be painful to use if there is a sunburn or itchy bites from insects.
Top quality cotton terrycloth is the fabric of choice. Linen toweling is also used by some families, but is less popular for children’s towels. Towels must be made with colorfast dyes. Washing a load of towels and having the colors bleed onto other garments or towels can ruin the looks of an entire load of laundry.
If your kids beach towels sit too long in dampness, they may develop mildew. If this happens, soak the mildewed towels in a laundry tub of water to which one cup of white vinegar has been added. Let the towels soak for thirty minutes or more. Then, wash the towels as usual.
